I know how I would feel if Obama had dropped out---you invest so much and it would be crushing. But I am grateful for your Obama vote. I already voted for him in Illinois----and with great joy and with such determination---I have never been so sure of a candidate in my life.

Which I guess is why this is so painful for me. I have never been so invested in a race before. I had just signed up to phone bank, and Wednesday morning before the news hit the wires, I'd even donated the last $50 of the $225 I'd given him this quarter.

which is why I was so afraid to get behind Obama in the first place. I got my heart broken twice in 2004 (in the primary and the general) and I was afraid to go through it again. But when I heard his speech after South Carolina I couldn't stay on the sidelines any longer. Hopefully I won't live to regret it.
