If I've learned anything in the last week or so (including last night) of talking to people outside of Daily Kos, it's that the view here is horribly skewed. The Obama volunteers at last night's party cheered for John Edwards when he spoke, and there were lots of "Amen"s to go around. The people who really build Barack Obama's movement are really excited about the call for change across so much of our democratic field. How wonderful that they had the chance to express that in Iowa by standing for Edwards, too, in the caucus.

to spare"-----that's what I heard from my friends and relatives in their Iowa precincts also. People make comments, not fully understanding that confounding caucus system there in Iowa, and the mysteries therein.
