I am so happy to see so many positive diaries tonight. It honestly brings tears to my eyes. If there is anything Barack Obama is right about, it is that there is more we have in common than that divides us.

And today, America voted for change. Today, America said we are one people, united by our flag, and we defend our freedom as passionately as we defend our security. Tonight, America said enough is enough, America said "we will not be defined by George W. Bush."

Tonight, America said enough is enough. America voted for change. And it brings tears to my eyes.

    Progressives made a huge mistake to abandon the flag to war-mongers. Take BACK the flag! I encourage all Dems to fly it high and proud, right next to their signs for our (eventual) nominee.
