Love the anecdote of Obama handling the protest. I think moments like this reveal a lot about candidates, and it seems Obama has a gift for thinking on his feet and appearing gracious and classy. Pretty nice quality to have in a leader--a wonderful change in the wake of Bush's bumbling.

Anyone around here who thinks that winning 50.1% of the electoral college gives you the right to ram your worldview down 100% of the country's throats must have forgotten what the past 7 years have felt like. There is nothing wrong with being open with and respectful of those you disagree with. It doesn't mean you cave into them (I don't think Obama has turned Pro-life in the wake of this incident). It doesn't even mean you come up with a triangulated compromise. But you listen, and you offer respect. And sometimes you learn something.
