    You get fired for consistently bringing in cards in the low teens, or for one day with under 10 cards.

    You get a bonus for getting over 100 cards in a week, which means you meet quota all 5 days, or work Saturday.  It's rare people get the bonus, a lot more people get fired.

      the collectors need to be let go or reassigned if possible.  It should be made clear to them that it's a possibility and that they're breaking laws if they complete forms or are an accessory to filling out forms fraudulently.

      ACORN hasn't done anything wrong that I can see.  They're doing a pretty good job under the condensed time and resources of a campaign season and much better and with more integrity than GOP operatives.

        If it's simple, it's been done.  They did put people in different areas, and inform people of the consequences of fraudulently filling out forms.  And it wasn't effective, as you know.

          what comes in and flag suspicious registrations and notify election offices.

          ACORN shouldn't be held responsible for a job market that's so bad people are willing to commit federal crimes to keep a low paying temporary job.

            should they be called out when they lie, and deny using a quota system that they obviously do use?

            And what is the reason for the lies?

            Are they trying to hide how they put the screws to their workers?

            Sounds to me like they exploit and abuse these low-wage workers pretty ruthlessly.

              If the demand for ballots is not there then employees would have to be let go.  Just like sales people have to be let go when they aren't making sales.

              As for the quota, yes they should say whether they have a quota.

              But it's up to the individual collector to decide if lying and breaking federal crimes is worth keeping a temporary job.
