Cheers to BIPM, my partner in life.
Cheers to participating in my first Maine Caucus Sunday! Well worth standing in line to participate. After getting inside, because of such a high turn out, they let us sign our caucus identification form with our candidate of choice, and hand it in to a volunteer. People were still outside waiting in line braving the high winds and snow when we left at about 4:40 pm.
Jeers to me for not being dressed for the weather. The one day I decide not to wear my ski cap. Standing in the cold wet snow was not fun!
Some pictures of our day:
People lined up around the corner from Portland High School. We started right about where the picture ends near the white car. We arrived about 1:55 PM.
Around the corner we go...
Finally...the school entrance is in sight! :-)

What're you doing here.
Are you not supposed to be doing some important sabbatical work?
(I, on the other hand, am procrastinating.)

I am still doing committee and other work over sabbatical, so the least they could do is let me use the broom closet!

And I'm thinking about what important sabbatical work I should do today. But I'd rather think about broom closets.

The caucus thing seems just downright COLD!
Why does it seem like Thursday today instead of Tuesday? Why can't it be Thursday today instead of Tuesday? Why, Mommy?!!!!

wrapped my head around what "Caucuses" are, and since my MySpace profile is permanently set on "argumentative" I'm trying to decide if it's a good enough reason to move, lol.

I know my hubby wasn't expecting me to "caregive" him as much as I do. lol, he really doesn't like it when he puts on a shirt with clear stains on it and I look at him and say "are you mad?" or when he forgets his gloves and I threaten to attach mittens to his coat via strings.
