about all this the other night, aside from the red herring aspect you pointed out, was the sanctimonious "people are sick of this sex smear stuff; they've had enough of it".  They could never and will never get enough of it when it's Bill Clinton.  It was fine to spend millions of taxpayer dollars and spend years digging, bribing, endlessly reporting, speculating, moralizing, etc.  But now all of a sudden we're just too high-minded to want to examine the possible hypocrisy of a candidate who has promoted his very identity as synonymous with incorruptible integrity in all things.
