    Or is this just rumor?

story as well. An aide try to walk back the story but HRC's initial response was appalling.

Later, aide Doug Hattaway said Clinton was taken aback by the question.

"She had never heard of this before," Hattaway said. "If it was actually said, of course she denounces and rejects that kind of politics in any way, shape or form."

This is a big-time activist, not some random woman. The parallels to Farrakhan are greater than they appear at first.

            •  Do you know when she said it? (0+ / 0-)

I will venture to guess it was awhile back - do you know?  And if such things are so important to Hillary that her staffer had to run back, why did she not denouce and reject it when it was originally said?

From New York Daily News reporter Michael McAuliffe's pool report. He was with Sen. Clinton today for a round of satellite interviews.

...which kinda makes it all the more funky.

            •  Exactly and (0+ / 0-)

McClurkin isn't some random guy off the street.

Neither of the candidates will win in a 'denouncing so-n-so game.'

I kept getting rudely dismissed when I said that I was uneasy with BO's response to the McClurkin episode and others. I even commented that if HRC had David Duke on stage it would somehow be different. Well, guess what? She basically did and it is different.

I guess Afican Americans are just worth more consideration than GLBT folks since BO refused to denounce or reject McClurkin -- in fact I was essentially told that I was too sensitive and that I needed to embrace those who hate me.

Chaos. It's not just a theory.
