  •  The diarist has a record. (9+ / 0-)

And it ain't pretty. Not a troll, perhaps, but a whiny pompous egotist whose "sage advice" isn't.

    Another OWW4O (thanks, Cyber Kat!)

Sadly, I looked. Not really sure why the diarist spends so much time here. Auto ban is going to come around eventually, so long as rogue posters don't go all loco uprating this nonsense.

    •  That record isn't what you think. (0+ / 0-)

It's interesting that you posted that, because this comment got a number of up-rates.  And if you look at who troll-rated other comments and why, you'll see that the one I just linked to is proven by the actions of the very people who've flamed me in this thread.  Now, I won't advise you to troll-rate some of the worst comments here; that's up to you.  But consider the content of those comments I negatively rated, and how the people who posted them chose to respond.  If you ask me, and you haven't, my "record" is only less than stellar because of the cliquishness and zealotry present on this web site.

      •  This is a DEMOCRATIC WEBSITE! (11+ / 0-)

What part of that don't you understand?

        •  DEMOCRATIC, not Republican. (0+ / 0-)

See, the one thing you should have learned by now is that being a Democrat means being able and willing to question things the party does.  The sort of behavior you've engaged in here is that which Republicans are known to use.  How are you not proving my point by going on the attack like this?  Did you even bother to read my profile?  Do you even care that, unlike you I'm sure, I'm am active Democrat who is a precinct committeeman?  But you seem to think that it's okay to flame any Democrat who dares utter one word critical of party actions no matter how justified that word may be.  This is why the party is in a shambles, and why people such as Ralph Nader draw the support they do from disaffected Democrats.  Try taking a step back and reflecting upon what it means to be a Democrat.

          •  Please go away (7+ / 0-)

written (nor am I under any obligation to explain why, lol)  you both need to read this diary...

              http://www.dailykos.com/...

It's written by someone you may have heard of.

Normally I don't comment in diaries like this one, one filled with opinion and preach-a-fying and such.  But sometimes I just can't help stepping in it.

Archangel M, read the FAQ's, of which 'Purpose' comes from the above linked diary.  We are a democratic blog, but we are also a partisan blog.  You write stuff like this, prepare to be boarded by the fleet.

And redhaze, you have every right to tell off the diarist in any non-troll way you wish (which you have already done so nicely, lol).  But I always leave it to the admins as to whether or not a diary should be pulled or not.  They are always out there, lurking, doing the big-brother thing, lol.  Most times they just let the diary fade away.

Nader needs to be discussed, but in a constructive way.  How are we going to dismiss him?  How are we going to effectivly ignore him?  Why does he continue to hurt the party?  These are questions I'd like answered, because I don't know those answers yet.  And I'd like to.  This diary provides none of those answers for me.  And because of that, I don't need an admin to dismiss it.  I just move on.

a very small number. a whopping 7 of them. a site with over 150,000 members in a diary with over 1000 comments and you only got 7? not worth flaunting. at least not unless you are trying to show how very very few members agree with you. one could get 7 people out of 150,000 to agree with just about any nonsense that one comes up with. the moon landing was faked, aliens from ork run our country or that the sun rotates around earth. each of those theories hold as much validity as the comment you hold up as evidence of your righteousness. comical.

    •  Well said, Ahianne. (7+ / 0-)

I love it when he starts pontificating on how he is just here to "help" us all be more successful with our candidates.

Since your candidate is a corporate Democrat, a "centrist", you'll want to target self-described "centrist" voters.
