and wanted to use that first. Based on the 2004 primary, you have to admit that incredible amounts of money are being spent this time around. I'm frankly stunned, and hoping that Dems have enough money left over for the GE.

According to capitol eye as of 01/31 Obama had raised General election: 5,200,248 Primary: 96,970,420 Money Left for Primaries: $13,426,000
Hillary Clinton General Election: $20,055,591
Primary: $95,596,770
Money left for Primaries: $17,892,283
These amounts were from information electrically taken from FEC statements 01/31/07.
I don't think you can take money raised for the general election and put it into the pool for primaries. I could be wrong though...maybe someone else will come along who knows.
