I worked my butt off to get him to be my Senator.  I'd like him to stay there for a while.

Besides the VP position would effectively gag him, silencing his voice in the Senate.  Plus I doubt he would do much to strengthen the ticket in swing states.  For instance, I don't think he would help carry Virginia any more than Obama would alone.

If I were Obama, I would choose Edwards for VP.  He still has a lot of support out there.  His message is strong and is something desperately needed by Obama. There were some states on Super Tuesday that gave him 10% or more, and he is not even in the race.  With Edwards on the Obama ticket, those votes would be in the bag.  Hell, I would vote for that, but for now I will cast my vote for Edwards (on Feb 12) in VA.  No candidate other than him has earned my vote.
