I thought, "My guy, John Edwards did WHAT?!! I'm so disappointed in him."
Then I opened the diary and felt vindicated. The reaction I had tells me everything I need to know in my heart of hearts.
I hope Edwards doesn't endorse either Clinton or Obama.
They seem like two-of-a-kind and it's my thought that he'd deeply regret endorsing either down the line. Neither can be trusted.
No endorsement, Johnny Reid. Let this whole thing play out as long as possible so Obama and Clinton show us what they're made of.

I feel that it would be a major sell out. I just found out that Obama's law firm does health law, defends physicians/hospitals against malpractice suits, etc. It really just about made me ill when I read this, I'm glad though it's not true. John Edwards was about the little guy. Miner, Barnhill, Galland

I think if Edwards chooses to endorse it's because he got some kind of deal where his policy proposals on poverty might get some action in the next administration. IMO, whenever you can make a good difference in the world...you should. However...if he doesn't endorse, I worry it's because he didn't get the kind of commitments he was after.

Today I was pleased to see him in New Orleans and using a good deal of Edwards' points, which seemed very much in line with the pledge.
I hope to see Clinton do similar; I don't care where but I do want the income inequity issue to keep resonating.

Did you all watch her speech on Tuesday? Remarkably similar, though not very moving, to Edwards.
by emmabrody on Thu Feb 07, 2008 at 06:31:10 PM PDT
him being there, would he have been there if he wasn't campaigning, I don't think so.
I hope John and Elizabeth will continue to focus on the things that are so important to his supporters and I hope he holds their feet to the fire.

frequently attributed to a member of the Hopi nation. Used in the civil rights movement and the feminist movement and the antiwar movement.
I've never heard it called a "meaningless, messianic socio-fascist slogan reminiscent of Hitler and Stalin" before, but I guess there's a first time for everything.
