She's basing her experience as the big reason for getting the Democratic nomination. "The right kind of experience" is one of those phrases which means whatever the listener wants to hear. If you make the argument about experience, Hillary Clinton will lose it against John McCain, I don't care how it's presented, it will lose.
You can't call yourself the experienced candidate in the primary and then hope that John McCain won't throw those words back in your face, which is why Obama was the smarter one, he co-opted himself as the "change" candidate and forced Clinton (in the primary) and McCain to be the past and continuations of the status quo (which, right now, is really bad). That's the key difference here, and it's why Hillary Clinton has struggled since the Iowa caucus.
