I'd say inexcusable.

and I'm still appalled by it. A friend raised another interesting point on the Fla Politics site (scroll down).
As Fla Politics notes, the failure of W-S to support these challengers could hamper their fund-raising efforts.
W-S "is a favorite of leadership, somebody on the move, Rothenberg said. When somebody like that doesn't want to be a major player in taking on a Republican, that's a signal."
As an aside, W-S and Meek jumped on HRC's bandwagon early. Like their candidate of choice, both of them are willing to put personal interests ahead of party interests. Interestingly enough, Meek's CD (in which I live) is largely A-A, and that endorsement is not well-perceived at home.
Some men see things as they are and ask why. I see things that never were and ask why not?

I couldn't remember. Poor thing scrolled off so fast, but not before I noticed another dem disappointment in my home state.

It's too late to do something about her in this election, but not in the next.

You should be TR'ed to hell
John McCain says he'd be happy to see our troops in Iraq for another hundred years. I just can't agree with that.

Nothing sexist there. Although it does generally get used for wimpy men, it seems to work for a power woman that's acting wimpy.
by immigradvocate on Tue Mar 11, 2008 at 11:28:36 AM PDT
shoot is to shit. Wuss or wussy really are not appropriate put down terms for a woman. Really. And calling a man that is basically calling him feminine, which implies you believe being feminine is a sign of weakness and an insult. I didn't TR you, just saying you shouldn't use the term. But, you're choice. My opinion.
by Barry in MIA on Tue Mar 11, 2008 at 11:44:36 AM PDT
insult. In my opinion deserved. But I don't agree that it means the same as pussy. But I probably will never use the word again here. Because W-S sounds the same as wuss when you read it phonetically, I couldn't resist. It wouldn't work with any other name, I don't think.

And I appreciate that you logically express where / what you're coming from.

In fact, I find it more often applied to men.

"Pussy" is short for "pusillanimous \pyoo-suh-LAN-uh-muhs\, adjective: Lacking in courage and resolution; contemptibly fearful; cowardly."
And geek originally meant, "a carnival performer who performs sensationally morbid or disgusting acts, as biting off the head of a live chicken."

nuts? Is Florida an alternate universe? We're supposed to be Democratic Party supporters! And we're not supporting Democrats because the Republicans are nice?
No more money for them until they figure out what party they're in!
They teach us to believe small lies, so we'll believe big lies later.

As a Floridian let me say loudly, YES.
