      Significantly  outnumber and outperform men in colleges in recent years.  I don't know the racial breakdown , but   could this be  due to affirmative action?

        and that's where the bulk of the affirmative action complaints come from-- people feeling that someone unqualified or underqualified was promoted or hired over them.  

        w/r/t white women, this is typically true.

        another little truth about affirmative action is that white men benefit from it when they put their white wives' name on the business and then use her name to get a small business loan for 'minority companies'.  that happens all the time.  

        but somehow, the MSM doesn't feel compelled to report on that little aspect of affirmative action...
