this was probably the biggest public mistake i've made here and i'm just going to have to process through the guilt. thank you for your kind words, elmo, and for your help correcting the information yesterday.

the biggest public mistake was the election of George Bush. You are working your ass off to correct that mistake. Things are corrected and I, for one, would hate to see you waste energy on guilt when you have been so focused on this campaign. You are a highly respected member of this community -- and anyone who takes you to task in light of what you have done, how hard you have worked -- is just damned arrogant.
No public flogging from me.

you are intelligent and informed. Now you are working to persuade those who did make the mistake, and I warrant you've done a damned good job.

that was a good thing. this guy is one of the most visible bush backers on my block. he had the yard signs in 2004 and all that jazz. i would NEVER have guessed he'd be for obama this time around, but he is.

I'm surrounded by Obama supporters and have to work hard only with my Republican family. Obama is a much easier sell than Clinton for them.

and boy, do I know guilt! Guilt is appropriate when you've done something wrong, but not if you've made an innocent mistake. You relied on the people training you, and they made a mistake.
Eh. We all make mistakes. It's not as though you voted for the AUMF without bothering to read the NIE, and then refused to aknowledge that it even was a mistake.
