I think that we are still in the trough.  When the Wright controversy hit last Thursday, I spent the next few days petrified of what might come.  But by Monday, I realized that the majority of feedback that I was getting from Obama supporters across the country was positive.  I also realized that Obama would take a hit in the polls -- I guessed anywhere from 5-15%!  Yikes!  And I knew that he would rebound.  But how much?  And how soon?

And then the speech happened.  I realized that "Oh, I forgot!  It's Barack Obama.  He's that really smart talented guy that we are trying to elect that stands on his own two feet with millions of supporters."

So, when calls started coming in again yesterday from panicked Obama supporters, I realized that the full thrust of the media attack on the public was lagging behind my initial response.

Barring no further controversies, look to start pulling out a little bit more within a few days time.  And THEN, by late next week or early the following, we will see if this whole thing doesn't backfire on whoever did this.  Don't forget, Barack is really good at this.
