just to show how pumped people are about being a delegate:

1. On the night of the convention on 3/4 the other precincts in my neighborhood were having to have people basically audition to become the precinct captain. People were standing on a platform in front of about 150 people stating why they want to be the captain. People, of all races, were giving these great reasons why they want to reprecent Obama on 3/28 for the Senate conventions. People were cheering and then they picked the person. It was amazing.

2. One of my co-workers who lives in Tarrant County, didn't even know what the primary was and why it was so important. She was assuming really only November counted. I was amazed! I explained to her the whole thing. This was a month before 3/4.

She researched more after we talked and she is now a delegate for Obama tomorrow. She is so excited. She called me the next day, 3/5, to tell me.
