      But this 'donation' process is anonymous, there's nothing on their website (which I assume would violate some confidentiality rule), and it's kind of a big deal - if true.

        I asked you to write an email, there is nothing about a donation! I am totally confused now. The shelter is NOT going to advertise who dumped their dogs. Huh??????

          I did see some Black Labs which might be the ones you mention in your Diary being offered for adoption - but I didn't notice a pregnant female Shepherd.
