I started a few weeks ago trying to get signatures for Hillary. No one would sign my forms. A bit disturbing.
I see a lot of Obama signs in the wealthy areas around here.
Actually I work in a fairly rural area. One of my co-workers said that he would vote for Obama but then switched to Hillary after the Wright affair. Then he switched to McCain. And now he is back to Obama.
Obama and Clinton both gave speeches here in PA. Obama's speech had many more attendees.
I am definitely thinking that Pittsburgh could go for Obama !
Go Barack !

When did you start to waver? Last I recall reading from you, you were still down with Hillary. Was it her campaign? His campaign? The general zeitgeist (sp?) of your area of PA? I'm genuinely curious.

One article that I've read and agree with said that Bob Casey discussed Pennsylvania with Barack. Casey told Barack that Pennsylvania voters were more interested in specifics than rhetoric. If you have lost your job, maybe you are less interested in hope and change than in the details of how your situation is going to improve.
In my view over the past weeks, Barack has put less of the rhetoric into his speeches, and more on the details. This gave me more of a comfort level with him, that he was as competent or more competent than Hillary, with regard to the nuts and bolts of governing.

in Westmoreland County. Lots of Democrats in Westmoreland. He might not win Allegheny County but he could attain 45% if he really makes inroads.
