One article that I've read and agree with said that Bob Casey discussed Pennsylvania with Barack.
Casey told Barack that Pennsylvania voters were more interested in specifics than rhetoric. If you have lost your job, maybe you are less interested in hope and change than in the details of how your situation is going to improve.

In my view over the past weeks, Barack has put less of the rhetoric into his speeches, and more on the details. This gave me more of a comfort level with him, that he was as competent or more competent than Hillary, with regard to the nuts and bolts of governing.
