it looks like the Water Tower. Period. Water Tower Place is a Michigan Avenue fancy mall that takes its name from the Water Tower, one of the few buildings to survive the great Chicago fire that is popularly blamed on an O'Leary bovine.

how frustrated you got with me that night? In a nice way of course but after I kept doing it you looked at me like I was not terribly bright. And here I am doing it all over again. It's nice to know that I'm consistent.

I didn't get frustrated, I just appear that way.
My unfortunate drawback is the looks I give are often misread.

Hands up!
Sorry, don't mean to be a nudge. That's the Hancock Tower in the background. Sear has several stepped levels and similar con towers and is about a mile south. Hanock is right on the heels of the Water Tower, looking north, and shaped like a truncated pyramid.
