in the worst way, a slick and smiley rubberstamp for GWB's policies lock stock and barrel. What frustrates me is that the people in his district (of which I am part), fail to realize that Bush's policies will have us circling the drain in short order.
This district, sucked in by the rightwing/corporate propaganda of the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) voted for the inexperienced Wisconsin supreme court candidate Gableman over the incumbent Butler. They also voted back in the incumbent County Board Candidates. A challenger running on bringing in green jobs and focusing on the environment was crushed.
15% of the houses in my subdivision are for sale, and have been for months. less than 10 housing starts in the local towns the past 12 months, when prior to that at least 5 per month.
Oh well, when peak oil hits, the WMC fools will be out of work, with nobody able to buy their products and services. They will also be angry like the rest of us when they realize that backwards-looking politicians such as Paul Ryan have sold everybody down the river for short term speculative profits and "tax cuts".

If not this election, then the one after that. Or the one after that. Or the one after that.
Seems to me, the area between Chicago and Milwaukee, as it continues to fill in, will only get bluer, just like the suburban parts of the Atlantic corridor have. It will also be a prime area for those swing votes that make up the margin of victory for Democrats in statewide elections.
The insinuation that the feces of John McCain, a former prisoner of war, would stink, is outrageous!
