The story said that Blanchard this week "played down (Hillary's) antipathy toward the free-trade deal, saying she has visited Canada many times and understands the country well."
This really makes it seem that Hillary is talking about of both sides of her mouth on NAFTA.

both sides of his mouth than HRC is. Sadly, her views on dealing w/ Iran seem to bear some frightening similarities to his.

Whatever Cheney says, we know what he really stands for and what he will actually do. I don't even need to listen to Cheney to know what positions he will take.
For Clinton? I'm not even sure. It's strange to say that what the Republicans sunk Kerry with about how he is willing to say anything to get elected and about how he is a flip-flopper would actually fit Clinton much better.

Boy, the last time was hellacious.
We had to make a corkscrew landing into Montreal for fear of radical separatist Quebecois snipers.
Yep, I agree. Until Canada becomes a safer place for political grandstanding, it should be right off the free-trade list.
Oh, and while we're at it, since you can't make a free trade argument any stronger than the one you can make for Canada, let's just swear off free trade altogether. Yep, let's devalue the dollar and raise tariffs and have a grand old party. We'll recover those manufacturing jobs by the millions, and that'll sure show those Quebecois.
