    doesn't make it right.  this practice is unethical and perverse.  read this book:  Fair Isn't Always Equal
    Assessing and Grading in the Differentiated Classroom     by Rick Wormeli

    If you feel you must inflate grades one way or another then you assessments are not useful or valid and as a professional you must seek to address this.
