But the irony of your post is that Robert Johnson recorded his music in 1936, McSame's year of birth, and they were released to the greater public in 1961, the year of Obama's birth.
Maybe Robert Johnson should provide the musical backdrop for the general election.
I think his song entitled "crossroads" would fit perfectly....
