Imagine if Patriots wanted to change the NFL rules after their loss in the Super bowl.

They could say they should  Super Bowl Champs if Football had different  rules that the team with the best season record could override the SuperBowl score.

Hey wait a minute. Sure we scored fewer points in the Super Bowl but we had a better season record. So we should win instead of the Giants based on our record and we won more Super Bowls in the past
