your military ID cannot be accepted as valid proof of age by anyone serving liquor. Only Texas-issued IDs are valid. Since the TABC conducts a virtual reign of terror with sting operations, almost everyone toes the line on this bullshit rule. I've been in the position of having to refuse Iraq and Afganistan vets a freaking beer because I couldn't accept their proof of age and they looked under 30.
