It's the little robot thing in the photo just above (actually the alien inside the robot shell) -- a long running adversarial race on "Doctor Who" famous for intoning "Exterminate! Exterminate" in little robot-drone voices, right before they shot everything in sight.

The BBC had no budget to speak of for the early episodes. I always thought those "arms" on the Daleks were either suction cup-tipped darts, or "plumber's friends" . . .
