Let's not let the RNC and its stooges pick off Air America Radio hosts, such as Ed Schultz, for talking straight.

is not an Air America radio host. He works for Jones Network. The distinction is important, because Schultz takes money from the Democratic Party, and Air America, in order to preserve their editorial independence, does not. That is why I prefer Air America.
Now reinstate Randi Rhodes!

It is confusing because Channel 167 on XM Satellite Radio is branded as Air America Radio, and it broadcasts the Ed Schutlz Show, even though that is, as you say, a Jones Network production.
In any case, Ed Schultz should not have to apologize for telling it like it is: Senator John McCain is a war monger.

our Air America affiliate leaves much to be desired. While they broadcast some decent local content, they also have hours and hours of shows that I presume are essentially infomercials, mostly for "nutritionists" (in quotes because they're really snake-oil salesmen), and most of Sunday is given over to church.
Just last week, without warning, they dropped Lionel (who I can do without, to tell the truth), Thom Hartmann (who I can't) and Clout in favor of more snake oil, Ed Schultz and Al Sharpton, respectively. So now we only get Randi and the first two hours of Rachel during the week. Give that this is New York City, the liberal bastion of the East, I find this situation shameful.
If Schultz didn't take money from the Democratic party, he probably wouldn't be getting this flak. But I will defend him on it. If McCain's not a warmonger, I don't know who is. Even if Schultz were an elected Democrat, I'd cheer him for stating the obvious.

Ed Schultz has NOTHING to do with Air America. He works for Jones Network. There are some progressive stations that broadcast a mix of progressive hosts. Air America, Jones Network, Nova and independents are all presented on my Air America affiliate, but Big Ed DOES NOT WORK FOR AIR AMERICA.

Hothead McCain is already backing the Bush lies being used to promote "bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran". Trying to sell us on another war? That's "warmongering" by definition.

Why be specific when the general case is just as accurate.
When you accept unilateral warring and the unitary executive and all that goes with it, what do you want us to do, send you chocolates and posies?
The RNC represents death and destruction and the force of Empire across the globe. If over 800 military bases and over half the discretionary taxpayer monies of the US govt. being sucked into the MIC aren't enough proof, check the blood on their hands from hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis and the holes in their souls where their consciences used to be.

He was one of the first voices to call for an invasion of Iraq...mister bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran is a warmonger.

Hell, they love selling wars. They keep telling everyone how important it is to go to war, how whatever war they're selling this week is vital for our country.
Oh -- but they don't go to war themselves. They claim that it's patriotic to call for other people to go to war. Certainly this has been the main theme of rightwing bloggers. And of draft-dodgers Cheney and Bush.
So, in summary, they think selling wars -- warmongering -- is patriotic.
Why are they complaining? We quite accurately called McCain a warmonger. In their world, warmongering is patriotic. Don't they agree that McCain is doing his patriotic duty by warmongering?

Fucking hell, I thought they were supposed to be the tough guys.
I suppose they've apologized to the families of the Iraqis they've killed in their Super Awesome Funwar.
The above comment is probably disrespectful of John McCain's military service somehow.
