In 1999 McCain was urging us to use 62% of the Clinton era surplus on Social Security. By 2005 he was on tour with Bush pushing private accounts. Now he just will not talk about Social Security, simple saying we need a bi-partisan dialog.
I think we need to start hammering on Social Security now. We need to make him say what it is he really thinks.
