It wasn't allowed to be discussed at the last state central committee meeting.

They announced beforehand that the primary situation was not to be discussed and anyone that brought it up would be asked to leave...

Which was complete bullshit, especially when you consider that that topic was the very reason most people bother to make the drive to attend the state central committee meeting in the first place, because the people of their county parties wanted to know what was going on.

That's why our county made the 4 hour drive, because our county party members and volunteers are confused and pissed off and they wanted to know what was going on and how this mess was going to be fixed...

And we weren't even allowed to ask.

It's absurd.

Something needs to be done about the MDP leadership.

When county parties... The backbone of an organization... aren't even allowed to SPEAK about the single most important topic concerning Michigan Democrats, you know that things have gotten way out of hand.

You know that the party leadership has gotten WAY too big for it's britches.

It's like they're the all mighty powerful beings and we; the lowly serfs that do all the manual labor are lucky that they have given us the privilege of not being able to speak in their royal presence.

(Can you tell that I'm just a little pissed off about that? It was a while ago and I'm still pissed about it.)
