I can only imagine the pain of losing a child, or a miscarriage, as I can not have babies due to endometriosis. I beat the rush to menopause at age 39. Sometimes I am heartbroken not to be able to have my own little ones to raise, but I'm often grateful for it in these difficult and disheartening times on planet earth.
Mother's Day is a bittersweet holiday. I think of my cherished Mom and two beloved but now gone grandmas, and my girlfriends who are such great Moms, and my friend Diane who lost her son Greg to cancer (linked above). And all the other mothers who have lost children. I'm sorry and sad for the loss of your children.
