He doesn't know what he's saying. He's very, very, very old.
He should spend time at the Springfield Retirement Castle.

Look at his face. It's obviously one of those masks that the characters peeled off their faces at the end of Mission Impossible episodes. Who knows who's in there, and what they've done with the real McCain?
Why can't he reveal his medical records, hmmmm? That's right: different blood-type.
This is why he can't keep his stories straight - the new McCain honestly doesn't know what the old McCain was up to.
The new McCain: even stupider than the old McCain.
Peace

Any laugh is better than gloom, maybe. I think Aristotle said that, but it may have been Red Skelton.

I don't agree with comments connecting competency with age, but his ideas are definitely 'old school'.

The more I hear from McCain, the more I wonder what his field of expertise is supposed to be. He's a disaster on most topics from New Orleans to STDs. He admits he doesn't know the economy and his sham claims to the religious right on social issues are going to get knocked down in dramatic fashion once the real campaign begins.
Supposedly, he is a foreign policy heavyweight... except he was wrong on Kosovo and Iraq, makes idle threats to Iran, and doesn't know Shia from Sunni.
What the hell has he been doing in the Senate for the last 30 years?
He's like the second coming of Jerry Ford.
