Any particular reason for the TR? Or I guess I should say the HR? I believe after quite a few  years of coming here, that's the second one I ever received.

I certainly don't blame either Reagan or McCain; my father is almost 89 and gets confused quite easily. Sometimes he's pretty sharp, but other days, well... not so much.

I sure realize that it's not his fault, though. I'm the one who takes care of him. And I certainly realize no one can help it if either Alzheimer's or old-age induced dementia sets-in.

My concern about a POTUS who has questionable mental health is how difficult it would be to remove him or her from office and (in Reagan's case) the media's willingness to live in denial about what seemed so obvious - at least to me.

It was not my intent to denigrate people with these conditions but to underscore how important it is that we don't have someone with these problems in the Oval Office.
