If Hardball was turning on McCain. Matthews never did Clinton any favors.

After a while, I don't want our dirty laundry aired in quite this way. I'm an Obama supporter - have been from the start. But I don't want the media to be making this choice for us. The Clintons need to realize that they lost the primary the old fashioned way, to a better campaigner and a better campaign team - because we want them to come back in to the fold. It is counterproductive in the extreme for them to blame MSNBC or the media for their defeat, and therefore harbor resentment during the general election. Matthews is also a sexist asshole. He may be right to some extent about Hillary, but the messenger is so tainted, he only hurts us.
God, who gave man scabies, also gave him hands to scratch them.

I for one don't think it's "nice to see Hillary Clinton take a beating on Primetime TV". I want to see McCain taking a beating. Democrats getting beat up doesn't help Democrats, period. Even if it's the eeeeevil Hillary Clinton.

Oh wait. We have nothing but LIBERAL REPORTERS working in a LIBERAL MEDIA here in America!! How could I have forgotten that?

as far as the support of that tenacious fighter Hillary. He and his posse have propped her up for months. But I agree about going after McCain. He has a mancrush on the maverick.

to folks who think a prime Veep candidate is Sam Nunn....whose brightest moments were during the Nixon Watergate Hearings....nearly 35 years ago.
Hardly the kind of image you want to match up with a young Presidential candidate with fresh ideas.
Yes, a Veep who brings foreign policy experience can be helpful, but in that case with a Richardson you get LOTS of that plus better links to the important Hispanic vote. What does Nunn bring you?
Free markets would be a great idea, if markets were actually free.

disaster-- gaffe prone, establishment RW Dem hack, loved by the Broders and Novaks and such.
It ain't gonna happen since he brings no votes or support other than the DC insider crowd, not an electoral asset although perhaps he can help some in the south.
Expect all sorts of names to be floated that won't be picked.

There's plenty to criticize about Clinton without resorting to sexism. But that is one of Tweety's more serious vices, his misogyny.
