Saw Iron Man this weekend. Very entertaining and Robert Downey Jr. is great. Saw the Indy trailer there.

the Indiana Jones craze. She is somewhat disgusted with herself, however, since she considers herself quite the feminist!! :)
Please make some calls for Barack!

OK, so there was a bit of a 1930s stigma there, but really, women in the Indiana Jones films and stories were always portrayed as positive, proactive role models. The Temple of Doom might have slipped backwards a bit (rescuing the screaming, frightened, slightly bitchy prima donna damsel) but Marion, from the first one, and Ilsa, from the third one, were both strong women who could stand up with the men just fine.
Sure, Marion got captured by the Nazis, but so did Indy, and the both ended up in the same trap together, so really she wasn't treated any differently than Indy.
As for Ilsa-- She was flawed (she WAS a Nazi, after all) but she was a high-ranking officer, and a very intelligent, strong woman.
All in all, I'd say the average feminist (of which I am one) has nothing to fear from Indiana Jones.

with her. (You clearly know you some Jones!)
I think she gets caught up in the repeated "man rescues woman" thing - even if it gets botched for humor. :)
