Maybe Conyers' letter is too little too late but this is no time to be throwing rotten tomatoes from the cheap seats, no matter how much the dems deserve it. Anything we can do to stop the war in Iran we should do. Anything the congress does to try and stop the Bush march to war in Iran we should applaud. And then ask for more of the same. Lots more.

But if Congress had taken its oath of office seriously in the first place and acted instead of sitting on its kazoo, we wouldn't be talking about stopping Bush now.
There's a lot of frustration out there and it's getting vented, simply because we've seen so many of these SWLs and threats of subpoenas and nothing being done. Given the history of this Congress, we can pretty well assume that this will mean nothing and nothing with come of it.
George Bush does what he wants to do. He has all his life, and his presidency, his wars are simply games to be played. They don't cost him anything.
