why can't we force this vote upon them???

It'd be priceless to see them stone wall this, and for it to be made plain they are fighting tooth and nail to maintain taxation on DC citizens without representation.  No Congressional representation for You, undeserving DC citizen!

Our D squad leaders should consider offering legislation or an amendment to the budget exempting DC citizens from federal taxation until they are represented in Congress.  Or that all federal taxes collected from DC must be spent in DC, per the direction of their elected city representatives.

Either way, actions like these could help America realize that GOP agendas are never really good for the majority of us, let alone a minority.  And if one can't get a majority in our Nation's Capital properly recognized and represented, how much the worse appears their crime?!
