I went back to school last year.  I suppose that could confuse people about my age.

Now, I'm trying to imagine Optimus Prime in French...

    J'mappelle Optimus Prime
    Je suis chef de l'Autobots.

    •  There you go, that must be it (2+ / 0-)

I'm 33 and can't imagine being back in school. Staying up all night worrying (instead of studying) about my exam tomorrow... ugh! or was that just me?

You're not majoring in French, are you? :-P

Up all night worrying?  Definitely.  Thursday is my last day of this semester and then on to summer.

I'm actually enjoying it, though.  Once I got over feeling insecure about being so "old."

Where were you again, Vegas? What are you studying? Hopefully my dad's cousin is not one of your professors (or worse, dean or s/th).

I'm in Reno right now.  I'm kind of wavering between Environmental studies, Peace & Conflict studies (to go into law), and possibly nursing/physician's assistant.  I may be transferring to UNLV fall 2009, although I'm aiming for Oxy.

then you're safe! He's one of the morons who's rooting for Clinton and was insistent that it's because she's more electable, but then told me he would vote for McCain over Obama. I told him that didn't make any sense because even if he thinks Obama is less electable, that's not reason to not vote for him in November, so then he went on to give me some BS about experience... anyways, I'm hoping it's all sour grapes cause he seems solidly Democrat (otherwise).

Two liberals supreme court justices would be replaced with two conservative supreme court justices, giving the conservatives a 7/2 majority that would hold for many, many years to come--damage that would last well beyond McCain's time in office.

Considering everything, is it morally wrong to wish a car accident upon Alito?

It's sad that 8 years of a Democratic presidency would only serve to keep a 4-5 minority in the court.

I think my dad's cousin is just full of it... he's just making threats to me like the big donors are to Howard Dean: nominate Hillary or else!
