Pretending that this story, and the heinous facts it reports, doesn't exist will not fix the Secret Service, bigotry or anything else. It will not make us more safe. It will not make us less afraid.

Denial of these facts will make us more afraid, and, even worse, act out of fear.

We are not afraid. I know I'm not, I can tell that Obama either isn't, or even more importantly that he won't give in and act out of fear. We will face these threats, and these fears.

Don't be afraid. Stand strong with us. We will win this, as we will win everything else. Because we are not afraid. Therefore, we have already won the hard part.
