i will try again: National Gas Buddy
i am so annoyed that i live in the neighborhood of high gas prices. i don't drive south in the valley to get gas, but i will go one mile in my civic for 5 cents off a gallon.
and i want to help others find out about the higher and lower patterns.

There are a few entries for the west side of my state.
I've got to drive 30 miles to find a gas station, so options are few. That is why I liked that FuelFrog site to track your miles per gallon and eventually to compare actual vehicle mileage.
It is also why I like the hypermiling site. For me, FuelFrog works to help you see if the changes you are making in the way you drive are increasing your actual miles per gallon.
I will never be one to try and get a 100 mpg out of my van, but if there are some changes I can make to get 35 or even 30 instead of the 28mpg I generally get, then those are probably good driving habits to develop.
