All the imaginary people in my head still support Obama. Maybe you should work to convince them that they in fact made the correct imaginary vote.

  neighbor, her aunt's bingo partner almost voted for Obama in the primary. She didn't actually vote in the primary, but now she's feeling remorse for almost voting for Obama in the primary.
  
  She'll probably vote for McCain in the general because if she had remorse over almost voting for Obama in the primary, think how much remorse she might have for not almost voting for Obama before.
