  •  OK. somebody set up a Web site ... (9+ / 0-)

...attacking Obama, and their mission statement is:

We are exploring setting up a new independent 527 organization with the express purpose to prevent Barack Obama from becoming the President of the United States of America. This group was started by Democrats but will have no affiliation with any political party and will NOT be accountable to any party or candidate. This group will communicate through TV ads, mail, and phone communications our belief that Barack Obama has had too many close ties to anti-American groups and individuals to be President of the  United States of America.

Setting up that pitiful Web site was an hour's work. Call me when they have some clout.

        •  It's interesting at MyDD these days (0+ / 0-)

Hillary's name is barely mentioned among the front-paged articles. It seems the people running the site have gotten the picture, just not the grunts. If I hear one more time: " She may take the popular vote," I'll puke. Yeah she will if

          1. You give her ALL the points in an election where you opponent wasn't on the ballot
          1. You award votes in a state that did not count.
          1. You take away the right of several states to cast the votes as they chose
          1. You count Puerto Rico, which has no vote in the general election.

These people are amazing. But the one that gets me: Michigan's vote is sacred. By Iowa's, let's take that away from them.

    •  Contradiction in terms (0+ / 0-)

Democrats who don't want Obama elected. If they fight for McCain or undermine the nominee, they aren't Democrats.
Or maybe they support the: "We are shouting louder, so give it to our candidate" group. Also not Democrats. They are not for an electoral process or for a corrupt one, where, for example Michigan's votes get to count because they benefit Hillary but Iowa's don't because they don't. Won't that just promote such good feeling among the states.
      Or they are Republicans.

Either way, they are the enemy. Fuck 'em.
