otherwise the conclusion won't be explosive.  If I were the writer, I would pick somebody high profile.  And I would pick somebody who doesn't have living children and blood relatives, because that creates complications.

That would suggest the following:

1. Baltar

1. a. That imaginary 6 chick that Baltar speaks to.

2. Starbuck

3. President Laura Roslin

4. Tom Zarek, the political opposition leader.

Anybody else would be somewhat anti-climactic.  Like Anastasia.  Too peripheral.  Nobody would care.  

Of course, they could really pull a fast one and try to go for someone with a blood relative, like Adama or his son, but that makes it hard to explain their family backstory.
