  •  That's Over (0+ / 0-)

After the Roberts and Alito confirmations (with Democratic consent), you're going to play that tired card?

You think 100% of the people are fools 100% of the time?  Please.

    LOL!

    You're so 1996!

    No more Republican rule.

Intellectually, I would have a hard time finding reasons to oppose Roberts. I think that, over time, his intellect will overcome ideology. Alito is a worst case scenario.

"Advise and consent" does not equal the right to propose. Without a Dem pres, we will end up with perhaps less Alitos, but def more Robertses.

My conscience has my vote, too; my conscience says we must deny Bush's party the WH. I couldn't live with my conscience if I in the least contributed to a continuation of these same policies that have diminished the standing of the US in the world, that have impoverished so many of our own citizens in order to enrich those who are already well endowed, that have contributed to the dumbing down of the politacal discourse...etc.

If you want to hear what I'm talikng about, let's take it slow; if not, then I'm wearing out my typing finger for nothing.
