We have two mortal enemies -- Iran and Al Qaeda.  Now, there is a LOT I don't like about Iran but how ridiculous that we are equating the two.  Iran (and by extension Syria and Hezbollah) can be brought to the table.  We can talk to them, offer carrots as well as sticks, and we can find a solution that is acceptable to Iran and Israel.  And then, with Iran's help -- which could be very useful -- we can destroy Al Qaeda operations once for all.  But we're in the this endless cell where we hate Iran who hates Al Qaeda who hates us.
