I am a woman and I think HRC has set feminism back about three decades with her hysterical campaign. She has not, I repeat not(!), made it easier for future women to run. Her mess of a campaign with its debt-ridden, racially-tinged, make up the rules as you go reputation has no doubt reinforced all the negative stereotypes about women.
For all the clueless boys out there, real feminists don't like being told to vote for a candidate simply because she shares a sex organ with you.
I am not gay. I have never been gay.

I do agree that that was an important line. You and I (I'm a 48 year old white woman and feminist, too) may not agree, but it's the kind of salve the Clintonista women may need to hear. He can be gracious. I'm not so good at that. I'm still mad as hell at Clinton and some of her supporters. Hopefully, I'll get past that. Hopefully they'll get past that. We need to win in November for all of us.

When she started using gender and race, she made real problems...
...that said, if the next female candidate ran an honorable campaign, I think most of the damage could be undone.

are in any way related to the stereotypical faults of women in general. I think she's only reinforced all the negative stereotypes about the Clintons.

there is also this. She ran such a bad campaign, and as a result attracted such negative attention that, the next time around, when there is a woman candidate who runs even a mildly competent campaign, she will look amazing by comparison. Thank you Hillary!
Don't tell me you're a patriot. Let me find it out for myself.

I have stated this before, but gotten shot down about it. Her actions are coming off as the worst stereotypes of what women are.
And right now, no matter what Obama does, I am not sure he can win over all her hardened hearted supporters, and I don't think she will lift a finger to help. I tried to watch CNN earlier, but all they could do was talk about how Obama can not win white voters. Obviously, Clinton has poisoned CNN and now only Appalachia counts.
I think Obama just needs to keep on with his message and keep attracting the independent vote and dissatisfied former GOP voters, the voters who could never support Clinton anyway.
