who announced his support for Barack last week and got a lot of phone calls from angry Hillary supporters, so we here at DKos made it sure how much we appreciated him by raising $20k+ in 24 hours.
It's what we do here: strength and standing up for what you believe in deserves rewarding :)
The world is so cold and the rhythm is your blanket, wrap yourself up in it, if you love it then you'll thank it.

someone else announced that their workplace had just blocked Daily Kos. This link in particular looked quite useful to me so I saved for recommendation to friends in the future who are confronted with a similar situation:
Proxify
Hope it helps.

Not only are most network admins very aware of proxy websites and block them as well, but attempting to get around the company's network policy by using a proxy site can get you in a lot of hot water.
It sucks -- I speak as someone who is lucky enough to have access to dkos (for now) but I'm blocked from MANY, MANY other sites.
You can have your "Under God" back when I get my "Liberty and Justice For All" back.

till this damn primary season is over, and we can get back to electing folks based on their stands on the issues, not which Dem they're backing for President (made the same argument in a diary urging people to vote for Jackie Speier's opponent because Speier's a Clinton supporter).

because of the negative response he has received. It wasn't just because he backed Obama, but because he did so even though he suffered nasty attacks for doing it.

Mukalsky? I can't remember exactly. Afterwords, I heard Speier was changing her mind, but it could have been a campaign ploy. She was endorsed by Newsom.

for this update, it's hard to keep up. I gave to Ben's first run for Congress and asked others to give back then, to former governor and senator Happy Chandler's grandson. As baseball commissioner Happy Chandler supported the integration of baseball with Jackie Robinson, although as an elected official he walked a fine on racial issues with the rise of the Dixiecrats. The medical center at UK in Lexington is named for him. I lived briefly in Garrard County. Ben lost there iirc but won anyway. Maybe Lancaster will come in this time.
Just gave $100.
