Seems like Idaho needs you more than ever right now. With the joint news about the radioactive sand dump about to be deposited on the state, and Blackwater moving in, Idaho needs another strong defender.
How much play are those stories getting back home?

The company transporting the radioactive toxic waste from Kuwait to Idaho has a PAC that has contributed to Republican Jim Risch. And the company's CEO has contributed to Republican Jim Risch.
So, while Republican Risch is beholden to people very literally bring toxic waste to Idaho, LaRocco can be an independent voice looking out for Idahoans.
One heck of a stark choice.

I hand delivered letters to Governor Otter and Lt. Governor Risch today asking them to stop the shipment of radioactive waste from Kuwait into Idaho. It is hard not to believe that they promoted this idea given their close political links to the waste dump opeator. I pointed out in my letter that we could have buried the waste in a safe repository in the dry climate and sands of Kuwait instead of shipping 6700 tons of radioactive waste to beautiful Idaho. The BlackWater training issue is being looked at by Idaho media. I think it's a bad idea....especially in North Idaho.
