At some point, we may need to concede that Hillary is outrebounding and outplaying Obama despite an age, looks and charisma deficit.
No, at some point we have to concede that Obama is winning the demographics and states he is expected to win and Hillary is winning the demographics and states she is expected to win.
We also need to concede that an unknown junior Senator from Illinois with big ears and a funny name is holding his own against one of the most well-known Democrats in Washington who has power and influence beyond most ordinary candidates. A candidate who is where she is simply because she is married to a popular former President, who, BTW, is also actively campaigning for her.
The shocker isn't that Obama can't close against a Clinton in states that have favorable demographics for her, it's that he's still standing after three weeks of 24/7 Wright, a nasty extended campaign waged by a party elite couple backed by experienced political operatives, and a rabid media determined to bury the frontrunner. This relentless shitfest would have sunk a lesser candidate two months ago. That's all I have to concede.
